King Richard School

King Richard School decided to introduce mobile devices to prepare students for working in a digital age (they wanted to replace their existing netbooks), and to encourage independent learning.

The benefits went beyond just independent learning. There was greater personalisation of learning, and increased collaboration and group work. All the different learning options lead to more engagement and creativity.

Pupils have given the Tablet scheme an overall satisfaction score of 85%”

Personal mobile devices made it much easier to communicate with teachers and other students. This was particularly evident for SEN students.
